1. What this policy covers

This is the privacy policy for smithfamilymassage.com, the website of Smith Family Massage Therapy in Sherman, Texas. It covers the one place this site collects anything: the contact form.

There are no accounts to create, nothing is sold or paid for on this site, and we run no advertising or analytics tracking. If you read the site without contacting us, we do not collect anything about you beyond the ordinary server records described in section 5.

2. What you send us

When you submit the contact form, you choose what to send. The form asks for:

• Your name, phone number, and email address.
• The service you are asking about and your preferred time.
• Whether you want an in-studio or mobile appointment, and an address if it is mobile.
• A free-text notes field, where people often mention injuries, areas of focus, or health conditions.

3. Why we use it

Strictly to respond to your inquiry and arrange the appointment you asked about. By submitting the form you are asking us to get in touch, and you are agreeing that we may reply by phone, text message, or email about that inquiry.

We do not add you to a marketing list, send newsletters, or text you promotions. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. If you would rather not use the form, you are welcome to call or text instead.

4. Health details you choose to share

Anything you write in the notes field is treated as confidential and used only to prepare for your session and to decide whether massage is appropriate for you. It is not shared outside the practice.

Please send only what is relevant to your session. A contact form is not a secure medical channel, and there is no need to describe your full medical history to book an appointment — Jacob will ask what he needs to know in person.

5. Who else handles it

Running a website and a contact form means a few service providers necessarily touch your submission. We use them to operate the practice, not to market to you:

• Our web host serves this site and provides spam and bot protection on the form. As part of that, it processes your IP address and standard connection details.
• Our contact management system and email provider receive and store your inquiry so we can reply to it and keep an ordinary record of it.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the safety or legal rights of the practice, its clients, or others.

6. Cookies and tracking

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other websites. The bot protection on the contact form may store a short-lived token in your browser for the sole purpose of confirming that a submission came from a person rather than an automated script.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your inquiry as long as we need it to respond and, if you become a client, to maintain ordinary appointment records. If you would like us to delete what you have sent us, contact us using the details below and we will do so, unless we are required to keep it.

8. Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 through this site. A parent or guardian should make contact on a minor's behalf.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
